1. Using VelaClip

VelaClip is a Mac desktop application built for churches, ministry teams, and creators who want to turn long-form content into short clips. You may use it for your own church, ministry, or organization's content, subject to these terms.

2. Early access and beta

VelaClip is currently in early access. The app is provided as-is during this period, may contain bugs, and features may change. We appreciate your feedback and will do our best to respond in a timely manner.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the sermons, videos, transcripts, and clips you process with VelaClip. Because VelaClip is local-first, your content stays on your Mac unless you choose to use an optional feature that involves a third-party service.

4. Third-party services

Optional integrations (for example, AI-assisted clip selection using your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription, or publishing to a social platform) are governed by the terms of those providers. You are responsible for complying with them and for any accounts or subscriptions you connect.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use VelaClip to:

• process content you do not have the rights to use;
• violate applicable laws or the rights of others;
• attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the service.

6. Disclaimers

VelaClip is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce specific results.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VelaClip and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or website.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
